Yoga

Yoga is a divine science of life that originated in India many thousands of years ago. It’s the oldest system of personal development in the world and a practical way of life that encompasses body, mind and spirit.

Anyone can practice Yoga, no matter what age, physical condition or religion…all can benefit from this discipline.

To really understand what Yoga is all about you should experience it for yourself! Then you will begin your journey ~ to a state of inner peace which is your true nature. The essence of Yoga is the self-realization that we are seeking and towards which we are all gradually evolving.

Yoga is union with all. It prepares the body for the spiritual path so the mind can practice meditation without obstacles.

Hatha Yoga (Sanskrit “Ha”- Sun, “Tha” – Moon, “Yoga” – Union)

Hatha Yoga is the most widely practiced form of Yoga in the world. Hatha Yoga uses postures or in Sanskrit – asanas and controlled breathing – pranayama in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength, flexibility and relaxation.

Come join us in balancing our mental, emotional, spiritual & physical bodies! Balance brings harmony, health and happiness to our lives! Namaste`

“Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realize.” ~ Swami Sivananda ~

The first yogis sought the answers to 2 fundamental questions – “How can I get rid of pain?” and “How can I conquer death?” They discovered that through asanas you can control the physical pain, through pranayama the emotional pain and through meditation you can come to a real understanding of who you are. You can transcend the body altogether and find the Self which is immortal.

“So you see, though Yoga begins with the body, it ends by transcending it.” ~ Swami Vishnudevananda ~
